City Palace, Udaipur is arguably an awe-inspiring architectural marvel whose construction was commissioned by Maharana Uday Singh, but was taken up by the succeeding Maharanas who added several palaces and complex to the City Palace, Udaipur, but surprisingly enough, it was able to retain a uniformity in design.
