Hotel Surya is located on the Circular Road in Shimla. It is just 2 kilometres away from the city centre, half a kilometre from the bus stand and railway station and 23 kilometres from the airport.
Hotel Surya caters for all the basic needs of its guests. On entering the hotel you step into a lobby with wooden walls and ceiling. This area is furnished with red patterned sofas and a coffee table.
Rooms
Hotel Surya has with 66 well appointed rooms categorised as Deluxe, Semi Deluxe, Super Deluxe, Standard and Honeymoon Suites. The rooms are a mixture of carpeted and tiled flooring and have a magnificent view of the mountains and valley. All the rooms have seating spaces with 2 sofas or chairs and a wooden centre table. There are cupboards and mirrors within the rooms and each room has an attached bathroom, all with bathtubs. Some of the semi deluxe bathrooms even have their own private Jacuzzis. The bathrooms are varied in colour combinations right from pink and blue to white and grey. The facilities within the rooms include direct dial telephones, cable television, 24 hours running hot and cold water and safe deposit lockers.
