Day 01 - Mumbai :
When you arrive at Mumbai, you will be cordially received by our representative and your transfer to the hotel is arranged. Mumbai, is the commercial and business hub of India and this fast paced city has lot to offer. Today on the 1st day of your tour ,day is spent entirely in leisure . Spend the evening in shopping or just lazing in the hotel.
Day 02 – Mumbai
Today morning after breakfast, you will visit the famous Elephanta Caves. These caves have rock cut temples which date back to the 5th century.Next you will visit other tourist hotspots in Mumbai like Crawford Market, Marine Drive, Dhobi Ghat as well as the ancient bungalows and mansions of Colaba.
Day 03 – Kochi
Today on the 3rd day of the Kerala and South India Tour we leave for Kochi by flight. After reaching check in at the hotel, relax for some time and then we will start our sightseeing tours. We will go to Mattancherry palace, Jew town, Jewish synagogue, old spice markets, St. Francis church, Santa Cruz Basilica and Chinese fishing nets. Come back to the hotel and spend night at the hotel.
Day 04 – Kerala Backwaters
Today we start the enchanting tour of Kerala Backwaters and we start for Alleppey.Here you will board an elegant houseboat for a captivating boat cruise . Sail all through the day admiring the breathtaking natural beauty and spend night in the houseboat.
Day 05 – Kumarakom
Today we will arrange your transfer to a resort in Kumarakom – Taj Garden Retreat. This resort exudes rustic charm with typical Kerala houses. Kumarakom has a picturesque bird sanctuary. Spend time here in the lap of nature amidst scenic beauty and tranquility.
Day 06 – Periyar
Today after breakfast we start for Periyar National Park, home to some wide variety of fauna and flora . The journey to the sanctuary is enchanting in itself when you view the scenic spice plantations on your way. Rest of the day is spent in leisure.
Day 07 – Periyar
Today enjoy boat cruise on the Periyar Lake and also spot wildlife roaming in the National Park. Come back to the resort and relax.Night is spent at the resort.
Day 08 – Madurai
Today on 8th day of Kerala South India Tour we will leave for Madurai. On your arrival in Madurai,check in at the hotel and after some rest we will start our sightseeing tour .Visit the splendid Thirumal Nayaka Palace and the stupendous and famous Meenakshi Sundereshwar Temple. Night is spent at the hotel.
Day 09 – Thanjavur
Today we will drive to Tiruchirapally along the Cauvery River. On reaching there we will visit the Srirangam Temple followed by the Chola citadel in Tanjore as well as the awe inspiring temple of Brihadishvara. These temples are testimony to artistic excellence and depict the Dravidian art and culture.
Day 10 – Pondicherry
Take an early breakfast and then we leave for Pondicherry famous for its gothic architecture and serene beaches. Check in at the hotel and relax. Day is spent in leisure.
Day 11 – Pondicherry
In the morning, go on a boat cruise to view the beautiful dolphins. Next go on a tour to the city of Auroville – a place famous for its serenity and spirituality.It is named after Sri Aurobindo Ghosh. Come back to the hotel and spend night there .
Day 12 – Mahabalipuram
Today after breakfast, go for a drive along the scenic Coromondal coastline towards Mahabalipuram. Hereyou will see the shore temples and many other stone monuments and structuresAll these are perfect examples of typical South Indian art and architecture.
Day 13 – Chennai
Today morning you can stroll on the sea beach and visit the nearby temples here. Next we will go to Chennai. En-route we will also visit the center of arts – Dakshinchitra. After reaching Chennai day is spent in leisure or you can go on a shopping spree for the rich handicrafts,silk sarees etc. You can also enjoy the dance performances held at the auditoriums in the city.
Day 14 – Chennai
Today we will go for sightseeing tours in and around Chennai. We will go to the cultural center of Kalakshetra and the Theosophical society, here you will see the famous Banyan tree. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 15 – Bangalore
We will travel to our next destination, Bangalore by the Shatabdi Express train on 15th day of Kerala and South India Tour. We will reach by afternoon and after some rest we will visit the Cubbon Park Lal Baug and many other popular structures. Night si spent at Bangalore .
Day 16 – Bangalore
Today you will tour the classical dance center of Nrityagram was founded by the famous dancer, Late Protima Bedi. You can do some shopping in the areas around M.G. Road here you will find shops and departmental stores.You will board the Hampi Express train at night.
Day 17 – Hampi
Today we reach Hospet in the morning. Here there are the ruins of the Vijayanagara kingdom. Rest of the day will be spent in sightseeing of other architectural monuments and structures.
Day 18 – Hampi
Today you can go for a walk in the Hampi marketplace and you will also visit the nearby temples. You can also view the picturesque Tungabhadra River.
Day 19 – Goa
The next day, we will leave for Goa the cherished tourist destination . Day is spent in lazing around at the resort or take a stroll at the nearby beaches.
Day 20 – Goa
After breakfast you will go on a sightseeing tour of Panjim you will visit the splendid churches, cathedrals and chapels. You can also enjoy enthralling cruise on the Mandovi River.
Day 21 – Goa
The last day in Goa is spent strolling along the beaches, or you can also do shopping in the old-fashioned attractive markets. Then return back to hotel .Night is spent at Goa.
Day 22 – Mumbai
Today you will catch flight to Mumbai . Day is left to you for leisure . You can stroll on the Juhu beach in the evening or do some shopping or just relax at the hotel. There is another exciting option of dining at some exclusive restaurants here.
Day 23 – Departure
Today is the last day of Kerala and South India Tour. We will arrange for your transfer to the airport so that you can catch flight for your return journey along with some sweet memories of the tour.
