The Mewar Festival is well-known and is celebrated to greet the arrival of spring. It has an exclusive charm about it and celebrated with Gangaur festival of Udaipur. . The women folk assemble to dress the images of Isar and Gangaur and then carry them in a traditional procession through different parts of the city. The procession heads toward the Gangaur Ghat at Lake Pichhola. Here, the images are ferried to special boats with much singing and festivity.
