Goripalayam Mosque: This is a large mosque ,which has two tombs of Delhi sultans of the Madurai sultanate. Here you will find 70 feet broad and 20 feet high dome which is constructed of a single stone block.
Makka Masjid: This has an imposing structure and the huge space here can accommodate hundreds of worshippers at a time.
Masjid Mamoor: This mosque was constructed in 18th century ands is much revered by the Muslims of Mannady area in Chennai.
The Grand Mosque: This is another famous mosque in Tamil Nadu which was established by Nawab Wallajah.
Thousand Lights Mosque: You will find sayings from the Holy Koran engraved on the walls of this mosque. It is cream in color and has many domes .This mosque is situated in the center of the Chennai city.
Chowk Maidan Masjid: This is an important dargah built in 1736 and is located just opposite to town hall. This mosque in Tamil Nadu was built by Rani Mangamal for the Muslim soldiers.
Begam Sahiba Masjid: This mosque was built by Begam Sahiba of Kerala.
Pannadibee Dargah : In this mosque the bodies of Babu John’s children were buried. In this mosque the Sandanakoodu festival is celebrated in the month of saber everey year and which finds a large number of participation from Hindus and Muslims.
Kanmian Masjid: This mosque was constructed in the memory of Prophet Kanmiyan Sasith ,who arrived from Arabia to Tiruchi . This mosque in Tamil Nadu is a place where large number of Muslims come and pray.
Kajamalai Dargah: You must visit this mosque where in the month of Rafiul Ahir annual festival is celebrated to venerate the burial of Hazarah Kaja Syed Ahamadullah Shah.
