The Nagarhole National Park in Karnataka has a unique feature; it shares its boundary with the Bandipur National Park. Together these two form a segment of the Mudumalai Sanctuary of Tamil Nadu and also a fraction of the Wayanad Reserve of Kerala. The two are separated from each other by the reservoir-dam on the Kanbi River located south of the park.
