Kaila Devi Temple - This temple is located on the Kalisil River banks in the Karauli district. The temple is enshrines the custodian deity, goddess Kaila, of the erstwhile princely rulers of the Karauli state. The temple is made of marble with a large atrium. During March-April, there is a famous fair that is held at this place.
Dilwara Jain Temples - Dilwara Jain Temples feature prominently among the Rajasthan Temples and according to many expert view points, architecturally outshine the Taj Mahal. Dating back to the 11th and 13th century, one remarkable characteristic about the Dilwara Jain Temples is the intricate carvings in marble. The Vimala Vasahi & Luna Vasahi are the two temples that are cited by the experts as manifestations of architectural brilliance.
Brahma Temple – This temple is the sole temple in the entire world where the Lord Brahma is worshipped. Located by the side of the Pushkar Lake, this Rajasthan temple depicts Brahma with four faces and four hands. One interesting feature about the temple is the coin studded floor. The coins are placed by the devotees who commemorate the birth and demise of their loved ones.
Surya Narayan Temple – This is yet another Rajasthan temple that needs special mention. Dedicated to the Sun God, the temple is adorned with carvings of warriors, horses, solar deities and horse drive chariots.
Other important Rajasthan temples include the Ramavaikuth Temple, Nasiyan Temple, Someshvara Temple, Mahavira Temple, the temples at Chittorgarh and Osiyan and the Mahavira Temple among others.
