Introduction on Peermade: Located 85 Km away from the city of Kottayam, Peermade has a pleasant clime year round making travel to Peermade convenient and also pleasant. Among the spectacular cascading waterfalls are the Meloram, Nallathanni, Panchalimedu and Valanjamkanam; while the best hill trails can be found at the Peeru Hills, Kalthotti, Vagamon, Karandakapara Hills, Grampi and Memala. The Sahyadri Ayurvedic Centre is a popular wellness center in Peermade.
