How to reach Quilon: Traveling to Quilon comes with many options. Quilon is accessible by road, air, rail and water; though the road and water routes are the most convenient of the options. You can travel to Quilon even from Madras which is 760 km away and also from Cochin, which is at an even more accessible distance of 156 km. the city of Trivandrum is closer, and lies 65 km away. There are three major trains that cover Quilon; they are the Madras-Trivandrum Mail, the Bombay-Kanyakumari Exp and the Mangalore- Trivandrum Exp. Aside of these there are several intra-state local trains connecting Quilon with the rest of the state, most air passengers have to touch down at the airport in Trivandrum. |
